くちをはさむ


日本では、人が話をしている時に口をはさむのは
失礼なことだと思われています。

反対にアメリカでは、人が話をしていても
途中で自分の考えを言わないと、何も考えて
いないと思われるそうです。

私も、英語を話す時には口をはさんだ [1]ほうが
いいと言われたのですが、ずっと日本で育った私には
それはとても難しい事なのです。
