私は子供の頃から新聞を読むのが好きでした。

今でも、ほとんど毎日読んでいます。

特に、日本語を教えるようになってからは
色々な国の色々な職業の人と話す機会が
増えたので、新聞のすみからすみまで
目を通す [1]ようにしています。
